It's not a busy agenda for home improvement show in December but there are still a few top notch seminar and exhibition events around.
People definitely have roasting turkey's more on their minds than building an extension, also, unfortunately the last month of the year has some "trade only" home show events - but not all... there are still some really great consumer shows this month inthe USA and Canada.
Most of the events listed here occupy the end of November and first weekend in December - we look forward to a full calender of events next month to kick start home improvement show 2009 listings.
p.s. it's interesting to note that many shows now do online ticket purchases costing considerably less than the "at the door" prices... - also some sites offer discount entrance coupons available online.

The sheer size of this exclusive trade show is incredible - in 2005 there were around 700 exhibitors, 2006 there were around 1000 exhibitors - and last year they hoped for around 1100 - and this year they are well over that figure of exhibits... all related to building, construction and architecture - and all for the approximate 23,000 visitors.
This show is so big and has been going on for so long simply because it is one of the best worldwide, thanks to the organisers and exhibitors - my top tips are... get there early, put your walking shoes on and drink plenty of water throughout the day.

Northwest Builders Show
Meydenbauer Center

December 9th - 10th, 2008
This show is a must for anyone in the building trade. This is the perfect time to find out about the very latest in building practices and products. It's also the best time to gain new and valuable contacts within the industry.
There are seminars during the show dates and also pre-conference seminars on the 8th December.
One of my favourite parts of this event are the new product demonstrations - and this year you will find a lot more "build green" talk going on - it's great!
